Story
The 1989 Chevrolet S-10 Monster Truck appeared on screen in the 1995 film Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls. Jim Carrey's pet detective, Ace, is sent this time to the fictional country of Nibia in Africa to find a missing sacred bat, and this huge-wheeled, camouflage-painted truck fits Ace Ventura's wild personality perfectly.
What's more, the truck isn't made up: it was a real Chevrolet S-10 monster truck called "Push-N-Stomp," driven by Greg Schmit, repainted in camouflage for the film. So this piece on the shelf comes from both a comedy classic and a genuine monster truck.
The model I own is the relatively rare variant known as the "Green Machine."
