Nova

1970 Chevrolet Nova hit the screen as the car of Detroit detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) in the 1984 movie Beverly Hills Cop. A blue, beat-up old thing, but that's exactly the point of the movie.

Foley drives this clapped-out Nova all the way from Detroit straight into the Ferrari-and-mansion streets of Beverly Hills. The car is so out of place that it becomes a character in its own right: a symbol of Axel's Detroit roots, of that "I don't belong here" feeling in the middle of all the luxury.
