Story
The Shelby GT500 Dragon Snake Concept is a black concept car built by Shelby American on the 2020 Mustang GT500, focused on drag racing (the quarter mile).
It was unveiled at the 2019 SEMA show. The name "Dragon Snake" comes from a drag-racing Shelby Cobra ("Dragonsnake") from the 1960s, of which only six were built. Shelby pushed the GT500's 5.2-liter supercharged V8 past 800 horsepower, lightened the car with a carbon hood, retuned the suspension and transmission for straight-line acceleration, and added an aggressive drag body kit and rear wing. Only a single example was built. It was not a production car but a concept made to gauge interest.
The model is a MiJo Exclusive from Mini GT.
