Impreza WRC99

Story

Subaru Impreza WRC99, the #23 car driven by Toshihiro Arai at the 2000 Acropolis Rally.

The Impreza WRC was Subaru's World Rally Car, developed by Prodrive. The WRC99 was the 1999 version and the first to use a semi-automatic sequential gearbox.

At the 2000 Acropolis, this car was driven by Toshihiro Arai and co-driver Roger Freeman for the Spike Subaru team, finishing 4th - the team's best result of that season.

The top two were Colin McRae and Carlos Sainz, both in the Ford Focus RS WRC '00, while Juha Kankkunen took 3rd in the Subaru Impreza S6 WRC '00.
